A First Look at the New 2023 Chevy Trailblazer

As a member of the ever-increasing subcompact SUV line, the Chevy Trailblazer provides ample seating and storage space. It also gets good gas mileage and comes with many modern safety features.

Basics About the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer

The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer gets good gas mileage, which is an excellent quality given today’s high gas prices. Furthermore, its smaller, yet still roomy, size allows you to park with ease.
The Trailblazer is not as large as the sprightlier Equinox but is a little bigger than the Trax, making it perfect for anyone wanting a crossover that seats five. Now in year three of the latest era of Trailblazers, this economy-sized SUV provides handsome features and a roomy cabin in a budget-friendly package.

New Features 2023

The 2023 Trailblazer does not offer any major changes. However, it is available in some flashy new hues. These include sterling gray metallic, iridescent pearl, and nitro-yellow metallic.

LS and LT, the lowest-priced models, sport a 3-cylinder, 1.2-liter turbocharged engine with 137 horsepower. The pricier models, Activ and RS, feature a 3-cylinder, 1.3-liter engine with 155 horsepower. The standard is a front-wheel drive, but if you opt for all-wheel drive, you get the more powerful engine. You may also upgrade to the 1.3-liter engine with the standard front-wheel drive on the LT model.

The 1.2-liter engine is available with front-wheel drive only and is outfitted with a continuously variable automatic transmission. The 1.3-liter adds the choice of all-wheel drive. Likewise, choosing all-wheel drive replaces the customary CVT with a nimble nine-speed automatic.

With good maintenance, regular servicing, and a little luck, your transmission should last for the lifetime of your car. To help with this, it’s important to respond promptly to any sign of gearbox trouble before it gets worse. If you experience any of the following four issues, visit your local car dealer right away for transmission repair.

How To Tell Your Car Needs Transmission Repair

You Spot Leaking Transmission Fluid

The reddish fluid inside your transmission keeps this very busy car part well-lubricated. In doing so, it regulates temperature, and as the fluid flows around the system, it also cleans out tiny fragments of metal and other debris from the gears, gathering it all into the pan.

If your transmission fluid leaks, all these functions will be lost, and the friction and heat inside your gearbox will skyrocket. Try to avoid an expensive repair job by noticing leaks early on. Transmission fluid starts off red and fades to brown with age. In the case of a leak, you’re likely to notice a liquid of this color puddling under your car.

Checking Car Air Conditioning System Jacksonville, TX

Top Signs You Need Air Conditioning System Repair

Leaking Refrigerant Fluid

The air conditioner keeps your car cool by turning the refrigerant from gas to liquid and then back into a gaseous state once more. As it changes states, the refrigerant absorbs heat, cooling air that’s blown over it into your cabin.

If the refrigerant springs a leak, the whole ac system can stop working. The most common location for a leak is around the ac unit’s hose connections where you might see an oily substance accumulating.
