Choosing the available rear-wheel drive system for the RS trim raises this all-electric range to 324 miles.

It’s also where you’ll receive warning messages and other vehicle information. Fortunately, you can operate functions on this display using steering-wheel-mounted controls.
With such important information on the screen, it’s great to see that Chevy is putting control in the driver’s hands with selectable visual themes. The Remote Start System
Chevrolet added thoughtful features to the remote start system that are perfect for getting their all-electric SUV started on the right path. This way, you can save your battery life and start your next drive with a full charge.
When you turn on the remote start system, your doors will automatically lock and the parking lights will turn on. Your climate control system will also turn on to your preferred settings.

This quiet, lightweight engine has a small design but offers maximum power output and efficiency thanks to its turbocharged construction. This powertrain produces 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque, so acceleration is quick.
With this powertrain, you can expect the LS model to get 26 MPG in the city, 29 MPG on the freeway, and 27 MPG combined. The combined estimated driving range on a full tank of gas is about 356 miles.

This feature works when you drive over 25 MPH, so it can activate on the highway and suburban roads.

Changing your car’s motor oil should never be seen as a take-it-or-leave-it afterthought, only remembered when the check engine light comes on. This simple yet vital maintenance task is your engine’s primary defense against excessive wear and tear and catastrophic failure. If you value the condition, performance, and lifespan of your car, never neglect to change the oil. Let’s look more closely at the many excellent benefits you get from keeping to a routine oil change schedule.
Why Regular Oil Changes are Essential for Your Vehicle
Engine Longevity
The pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, valves, rods, tappers, pushrods, and many other moving parts inside your engine should always be kept well-lubricated. This is the number one task of motor oil; the oil’s lubrication minimizes friction and prevents rapid wear and tear from prematurely ruining the engine. If you change your oil regularly, your engine and car will last far longer.
Engine Performance
When out on the road, your driving pleasure depends on how efficiently and smoothly your car’s engine performs. Good motor oil maximizes vehicle efficiency and performance. However, motor oil tends to collect dirt, metal particles, and other contaminants, which gradually thickens the oil, reducing its ability to function.
Modern synthetic motor oil also prevents rust and corrosion from developing inside the engine. For these reasons, routinely refreshing your oil keeps your vehicle at optimal performance and maximizes the quality of your drives.
Improved Gas Mileage
With better performance and optimized efficiency comes boosted gas mileage. When your oil is fresh and lubricating well, your engine is producing more power and miles for every gallon of gas it burns. As a result, you’ll be spending less on gas each month.
Avoid the Risk of Overheating
When a car’s engine overheats, it can rapidly seize up and sometimes become permanently damaged. The cooling system combats this risk, pumping coolant through the engine and drawing out most of the heat. The motor oil also helps to control the engine’s temperature, primarily by reducing friction. If you allow your oil to become old and degraded, the risk of overheating shoots up.
Maintain Resale Value
If you ever wish to sell your car, you can be sure that the buyer will ask to see the vehicle’s maintenance history. First and foremost, they’ll want to know if you’ve been routinely changing the oil on time, which is a key indicator of the engine’s condition. If you’ve neglected to refresh your oil, you’ll find it harder to claim a decent resale price.
Visit Bacon Auto Country in Jacksonville, TX, today to have your oil promptly changed by experienced technicians. Our local full-service dealership provides a broad range of excellent vehicles, competitive deals, comprehensive maintenance services, and courteous, personalized customer care.

Your engine operates most efficiently at temperatures from 185 F to 220 F, but high temperatures can cause engine damage. Gaskets, seals, hoses, and many other components can be easily damaged by high engine temperatures. We want to tell you about some signs that you need to visit us for a radiator repair.
Signs You Need a Radiator Repair at Your Dealership
Coolant Leak
Liquid coolant is a 50:50 mixture of antifreeze and water. It’s pumped through your engine at high speed and absorbs heat radiating from the hot engine components. The heat is locked inside the coolant and transported to the radiator. Once inside the radiator, the coolant enters rows of thin aluminum tubes, and the heat is removed by air blowing over the tubes.
A coolant leak is very dangerous for your engine, as a low coolant level will cause the engine temperatures to rise dramatically. You’ll notice the engine temperature gauge rising and may feel heat emanating from under the hood. If this happens, contact us ASAP. Our technicians will examine your cooling system, find the leak source, and permanently seal it. We then refill the coolant, and your engine temperature will return to normal.
Damaged Water Pump
The water pump is responsible for pumping coolant through the cooling system. The pump starts as soon as coolant is released and will continue to push coolant through the system until the engine temperature drops below a pre-set level. The pumping speed will speed up or slow down, depending on the engine temperature.
If the pump fails, coolant will still be released but won’t move through the system. Without coolant, the engine temperature will rapidly rise, and your engine can suffer serious, even fatal, damage. Pump failure can be caused by a blown fuse or other electrical fault, or the pump may have worn out due to age. We’ll examine the pump and repair or replace it to fix this issue.
Radiator Sludge
The coolant absorbs other things besides heat. It can accumulate dirt, rust particles, minute metal fragments, and other debris as it moves. Once the coolant has cooled in the radiator tubes, it leaves the radiator and is pumped through the system again. The debris carried by the coolant is deposited at the bottom of the radiator.
Over time, these deposits will turn into sludge, which can block the radiator tubes. A blocked radiator can’t effectively cool the engine, and your engine will overheat. We can fix this problem by flushing your radiator to clear away any blockages, and your radiator will work effectively again.
Most radiator issues can be quickly and inexpensively repaired and will prevent more serious damage. Contact our service department today at Bacon Auto Country Inc. in Jacksonville, TX.
