Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Denali Edition 1 is its own trim, and its exterior features are straight out of the future. Every detail is considered, which is why GMC uses the label "Grille-to-Gate" to describe its versatile features that are made possible by the Ultium Platform. Those features include a GMC-first MultiPro Midgate expandable bed, a lockable, weatherproof eTrunk at the front of the vehicle for even more cargo room, a panoramic fixed glass roof, and a grille that acts as a shield.
Engine (Power)
This EV is equipped with a front and rear motor and a 200-kilowatt-hour Ultium battery pack that's housed beneath the truck's floor. This drivetrain generates a serious amount of power, which is exactly what you'd be looking for in a high-quality truck. Specifically, it makes 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque through the e4WD system set to Max Power mode. That's more than enough to get the job done and look oh so good doing it.
Performance
This truck is more than just stellar looks and hulking power. It also performs. This impressive unit gets from zero to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds. Not only can you accelerate quickly, you can go far, too. The GM-estimated range on a full charge is a whopping 400 miles. The 800-volt DC Public Fast Charging capability at up to 350 kilowatts gets you a range of up to 100 miles in approximately 10 minutes. That's the fastest charging in the EV truck class. But wait, there's more. The Sierra EV's max trailering is a staggering 9,500 pounds. And we can't move on without mentioning the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1s enabled with 4-Wheel Steer with CrabWalk.
Interior
The interior is as modern as the exterior and has plenty of tech to boot. The seating material is CoreTec, which is made for equal parts durability, stain protection, luxury, and comfort. You'll immediately notice the 16.8-inch diagonal center touch-screen that's customizable and easy to use. It can be split into three app views, allowing you to see navigation, multimedia, and more all at the same time. The instrument cluster is a customizable 11-inch diagonal display with a multi-color 14-inch diagonal view head up display.
Safety Features
This bad boy wouldn't be complete with GMC's Super Cruise, a system that allows you to drive hands-free on the 400,000 and counting mapped roads in the U.S. and Canada. It also features automatic lane changing and hands-free trailering. Additionally, you can get up to 14 cameras for impressive visibility. The standard three-year OnStar and Connected Services Premium Plan offers advanced safety features like OnStar Safety & Security, OnStar Guardian App, Connected Vehicle Plan, Remote Access, in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot data, and myGMC Mobile App access.
