Engine (Power)
The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV has several all-electric powertrain options. Each trim comes standard with front-wheel drive (FWD) and has available electric all-wheel drive (eAWD). Your drive system determines your vehicle's power. GM estimates the FWD systems can produce a solid 210 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque. The eAWD bumps up these figures to 290 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
What can this EV do? It can go far. The eAWD has a GM-estimated range of 280 miles on a full charge, while the FWD option gets you even farther, with a GM-estimated range of 300 miles. You can travel farther faster if you upgrade your vehicle charging capabilities. GM estimates that the 11.5 kW AC charging option adds up to 34 miles of range for each hour of charging, while the 19.2 kW AC charging can get up to 51 miles of range per hour. The 150 kW DC fast charging is true to its name, getting about 70 miles of range in 10 minutes.
Interior
You can see impressive interior features based on your desired trim level, such as a 17.7-inch-diagonal infotainment screen, HD Surround Vision, and dual-zone climate control.
